Production Supervisor

Band E x 2

Permanent

Based at Ashley Chase, Dorset 

We currently have vacancies in our Packing Department for 2 full time Production Supervisors. These positions work 42.5 hours per week from January to June and 45 hours per week from July to December.

The supervisors are responsible for areas of production or stores leading the teams within them.

Supervisors ensure the area is kept to a high standard and the teams working within it are working correctly to the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Ensuring the safe production, storage, receipt and despatch of product within internal and external specifications and within critical control points (CCP’s). Supervisors are responsible for delivering and improving area KPI’s and reporting to other departments as well as help drive continuous improvements through team meetings and one to one communication within the teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (with maths and English to secondary education level) and be able to main constructive relationships with team members and other departments by application of the company’s core values. Furthermore they must be methodical with good attention to detail and be able to analyse and use data to identify the root cause of problems.

Planning & Systems Administrator

Based at Ashley Chase, Dorset 

We have a vacancy for a full time Planning & Systems Administrator working 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified postgraduate or for a graduate or candidate with recent experience of working in the food industry to gain experience in both planning and systems administration. The role will suit graduates with numeracy or IT biased degrees, looking to join a progressive and growing business where opportunities to develop will be available to those who show the necessary capabilities and aptitude. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Inventory Manager as part of a team scheduling the manufacturing of products for the business employing efficiencies and stock optimization. In addition, a secondary role will be to identify and resolve production data issues within the ERP System and associated applications. Full system training will be given to ensure the successful candidate has all the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their role. This is an excellent entry level role with a wide range of responsibilities. You will be required to work closely with various departments to support in the day to day administrative duties. A conscientious and methodical working approach is a must coupled with a confident but pleasant manner when dealing with customers.

Production Line Leader

Based at Ashley Chase, Dorset 

We currently have vacancies in our Packing Department for 3 full time Production Line Leaders.  These positions work 42.5 hours per week from January to June and 45 hours per week from July to December.
The Line Leaders are responsible for a specific line or area of production and leading the team within it.
Line Leaders ensure their line is kept to a high standard and the teams working within it are working correctly to the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Also ensuring the safe production, storage, receipt and despatch of product within internal and external specifications and within critical control points (CCP’s).
Line Leaders are accountable for KPI delivery and responsible for following a production plan, monitoring line outputs, updating SIC boards and discussing downtime, shortages and other relevant issues with their supervisor.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (4 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 of which English Language, English Literature and Mathematics are required) and be able to maintain constructive relationships with team members and other departments by application of the company’s core values.  Furthermore, they must be methodical with good attention to detail and be able to analyse and use data to identify the root cause of problems.
